Honeywell 6360D1002 Thermostat Troubleshooting Guide

A number of issues can crop up when using this thermostat. Its manual provides the solutions to some of the problems you may encounter. We will look at some of them here:-

Display is not lighting up – Check and ensure the batteries are installed correctly or that they are not dead. Replace if they are dead

Unable to change system setting to “Cool” – Choose the number of Cool or Compressor stages that the thermostat will control in your device. One compressor stage or a maximum of two cooling stages. If you don’t have a cool stage or compressor stage, set the value to 0.

Heating or cooling system does not respond –

Below are possible solutions to this problem.

• Verify that the setting is higher than the inside temperature.
• Make sure the thermostat is set to a lower temperature than the interior.
• Circuit breakers should be examined and reset if necessary.
• Make sure the heating and cooling system’s power switch is turned on.
• Make sure the furnace door is shut tightly.
• Wait for the system to react after five minutes.
