Verify the tightness of the seal at the drain connector and the hose. The hose should be retightened and the hose gasket should be changed if there is a little leak.
It is advised to utilize a dehumidifier drain hose that is at least 1/2″ (12.7 mm) in diameter. Make sure the hose has no elevations or knots. Please make sure the drain cap is fastened tightly to the connector when a hose is not attached to it to prevent leaks.

1. Dehumidifier does not operate
There could be a number of issues causing this:-
First, the wall plug might be unplugged. Firmly insert plug into wall outlet.
The other issue could be that the circuit breaker tripped or a blown fuse in the house. Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse with a time delay type.
Another issue could be that the selected dryness level has been attained. When a predetermined amount of moisture has been removed from the air, the dehumidifier automatically turns off. Use the humidity button or knob to select “CONTINUOUS” if you want to remove additional moisture. Reset the control to the preferred setting once the dehumidifier has started.
2. Although the dehumidifier is running, the room is not completely dry.
One of the issues could be that the setting for humidity is too high. To get the highest level of dryness, press the HUMIDITY button, turn the knob to a lower setting, or select CONTINUOUS.
The other issue could be that the dehumidifier has recently been set up or restarted. The time it takes for the room air to dry out increases with the amount of moisture present.
The 3rd reason could be that there is not enough clearance for the dehumidifier to operate. The air outlet isn’t getting any air.
Finally, the temperature in the room might be too low. If the room temp is less than 41 °F (or 5 °C), the unit won’t function properly.
