Save the time and effort needed to manually drain a bucket of water with this dehumidifier! The device’s internal pump enables it to release moisture upwards, either into a basin or out of a balcony.

For maximum effectiveness, this dehumidifier must be used in a closed space. Lock the room’s doors, windows, and other external openings.

Frigidaire FFAP5033W1 50 Pint Dehumidifier Instructions Manual

There is a detailed 13 page manual for this dehumidifier available online. We will look at some of the instructions found in the manual.

The rate at which fresh air containing moisture enters the space affects how well the Frigidaire FFAP5033W1 dehumidifier works. The air intake and air outlet of this dehumidifier should not be constrained by its placement.

Before using, let this device warm up to room temperature. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the device on. The appliance will operate at its HIGH fan speed and CONTINUOUS factory settings.

The device will only show CO and not the relative humidity of the room while in CONTINUOUS mode.

To maintain a comfortable humidity level in the room, adjust the Relative Humidity after a few days when it has decreased by pressing the up or down buttons to select a setting between 35 and 85 percent.

The humidity setting is adjustable in 5 percent increments by pressing the up or down arrow buttons. The display will show the real room humidity five seconds after you choose the desired humidity level.

Pressing the HUMIDITY button will reduce the Relative Humidity by 5 percent increments until the display displays CO if you ever want to return to the CONTINUOUS Mode.

The rotation speed can also be changed to Hi, Med, or Lo by pressing the FAN SPEED button. The setting you have chosen will be displayed by the indicator light. Quicker moisture removal will be achieved with a faster fan speed.

After 250 hours of use, the Filter reset light will come on. For instructions on removing and cleaning the filter, refer to the section on maintenance and cleaning in the manual.

You can turn off the light by simply pressing the Filter reset button after the filter has been cleaned and replaced. With the TIMER function, you may choose to delay starting or stopping the device by 0.5 hours to 24 hours.

If the device is already functioning, choosing Timer will switch it off during the designated hours (Delay Stop). If the device is off, choosing Timer will turn it on during the specified hours (Delay Start).

Setting the timer: To modify the delay timer, first touch the TIMER button. Then, tap or hold the > or button to alter the delay timer in 0.5-hour increments up to 10 hours, then in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.

The device will start or stop in the number of seconds indicated by the control (8, 7.5, 7, etc.). The fan speed and humidity will be left at their existing settings for the Delay Start.

The TIMER function can be stopped at any moment by pressing the TIMER button once more once the TIMER setup is complete. Until the device starts or stops, the Delay Start/Stop Feature will function.

The previous steps must be redone after that.
