Hard water is a lot more troublesome than you might expect.
Mineral scale can form inside your machines and plumbing as a result of this. Hard water has the potential to obstruct your water supply and cause products such as washers and other household appliances to malfunction.
Hard water damages kitchen and bathroom fittings, as well as reducing the efficacy of soaps and detergents.
Hard minerals are removed from your water by Marlo water softeners, leaving it softer, cleaner, and tastier. Take advantage of the benefits of a Marlo water softener.
How does a Marlo water softener work?
The unprocessed water enters the Control Valve and is guided into the Resin Tank’s top, in which it travels through a resin bed. The resin will interact with the hardness minerals ie Calcium and Magnesium, swapping them for Sodium in an equal amount.
When the water reaches the bottom of the tank, it is sent up through the Control Valve and out the outlet port as softened water through a tube in the center of the tank.
It is necessary to rejuvenate the resin when it has become saturated with mineral (hard water). A brine solution is circulated through the resin tank after a backwash step to clean the resin bed, bathing the resin beads in Sodium to replenish the collected Calcium and Magnesium.
A rinse of water travels through the bed after brine is sucked into the resin tank, washing the brine away. The resin cleaning procedure is accomplished after the rinse cycles are completed, and the bed is re-charged.
The Marlo Control Valve will monitor your water usage and perform the aforesaid procedures automatically.
