Braeburn makes different types of thermostats to suit the different clientele. They have programmable thermostats, non-programmable thermostats, mechanical, touchscreen as well as wireless thermostats.

On most systems, Wi-Fi functions without a common (C) connection. On any Heat Pump, Heat Only, or Cool Only system, common (C) wire is necessary.

Braeburn Model 7390 Wireless Remote Indoor Sensor
- Up to 4 wireless remote interior sensors can be connected
- The front LED light indicates the state of the sensor.
- It requires two “AA” alkaline batteries.
- It can measure the temperature remotely or in conjunction with a thermostat (included)

To reduce potential system damage from short cycling, this thermostat has an automated compressor protection delay. After shutting down the system compressor, this functionality begins to function after a little wait.
Additionally, this Braeburn thermostat offers cold weather compressor safety for multi-stage heat pump systems by locking out the compressor stage(s) of heating for a while following a power interruption lasting longer than 60 minutes.
You can manually override the cold weather compressor protection at any time by briefly switching the system’s mode to OFF and then back to HEAT.

Braeburn Programmable Thermostat
There are a number of models under this category. We have the:-
2020NC Programmable Braeburn Thermostats
For optimum operation, this thermostat needs two (2) correctly inserted “AA” Alkaline batteries or 24 Volt AC power. Batteries can be inserted as a backup while using 24 Volt AC Power.
According to NEC code, the installation of the thermostat and each component of the system must comply with Class II Circuits.
This thermostat works with
- Conventional and heat pump single-stage heating and cooling systems.
- Standard systems can produce up to 2 heat and 1 cool (2220NC only).
- Heat pumps with a single compressor and an extra heat stage (2220NC).
- Heat-only systems operating at 250–750 millivolts.
Install the thermostat roughly 5 feet (1.5 m) above the ground in a location with sufficient airflow that keeps the room at a comfortable temperature. Avoid placing the thermostat there if those areas have dead air patches, hot or cold air ducts, sunshine, appliances, hidden pipes, chimneys, or outside walls that could affect it.

• Convenient circulating and customizable fan modes
You have a reset button on this thermostat that you may press to clear all of your user settings and programming. The Installer Settings are unaffected by the reset option.
Use a small instrument, such as a toothpick or paperclip, to gently press the “RESET” button that is situated inside the tiny hole on the front of the thermostat housing. This will reset the thermostat. The thermostat cannot be reset if it is locked.
Indoor or outdoor remote sensing is optional.
